Our Web Site is Moving!  Check us out at www.bushcountrymetric.com    the Second Annual BUSH COUNTRY METRIC   Bicycle Ride for Forbush High School, September 8th, 2007.    The new date is now set for September the 8th.  Spread the word because this year's event will be even better than last year! Last year's ride was a tremendous success.  91 riders toured Yadkin and Surry County without any major incidents.  The ride offered rest stops, SAG support, bike mechanic, music and lots of food, as well as 5573 feet of elevation change.  Thanks to everyone who participated. Comments from riders last year: "I can't believe that this was your first year organizing a ride." "Great ride and super goodie-bag." "Loved it.  I will definately do it again next year." We hope that you will consider joining us again next year.  Keep viewing the site for updates and messages about the 2007 Bush Country Metric.   We are now looking at changes for next year: Adding another rest stop. Sprint-line conpetitions. Rest stop competitions Nothing is definate yet, but it is in the works. 1) Randy Matthews-Randy assisted in all aspect of the ride from route designs to rest stop inventory.  Thanks Randy!  We could not have put this event on without you.
